Kevin Li

Kevin Li is currently a partner and portfolio manager at Tower Research Capital, running a team of 15 people, focusing on intraday short term equity and futures research as well as statistical arbitrage equities globally. He holds this position since 2008. He also teaches at Shanghai Jiaotong University’s financial engineering program. Previously he hold the stints at Credit Suisse, JP Morgan and Bear Stearns in the prop capacity. He started his career at AQR Capital as a short term futures quant after getting his MS degree from Georgia Tech.

Ying Zhu

Ying received her bachelor's degree in applied mathematics from Fudan University and graduated from the University of Chicago Financial Mathematics Program in 2008. Madison is an Equity Partner at Belvedere Trading and leads the quant research and quant trading teams. We are happy to have her today as our panel moderator.

许西桥是美国ScienceVessel Lab LLC以及上海砥拓投资合伙公司的创始人，也是华人交易与投资协会的创始人和会长。他拥有近20年期货交易的经验。 2005年，他作为交易员在美国Jump Trading开启了职业生涯。 2009年，他以合伙人身份加入了HTG Capital Partners LLC并建立了公司的第一个全自动化高频交易组。 2015年，他成立了上海砥拓投资合伙公司为国内交易员、私募，证券公司和期货公司提供交易和技术解决方案。2017年他成立了ScienceVessel Lab LLC致力于研发最顶尖的交易技术和策略研发系统。2008年，他成立了华人交易俱乐部，并于2016年与华人衍生品协会合并并改名为华人交易与投资协会。

Steve Xu, founder and CEO of ScienceVessel Lab LLC, Shanghai Tiktok Investment LLP and president of the Chinese Trading and Investment Association, has nearly 20 years of experience in futures trading. In 2005, he started his career in Jump Trading as a trader. In 2009, he joined HTG Capital Partners LLC as a partner and built the firm's first automated HFT trading team. In 2015, he founded Shanghai Tiktok Investment LLP which provides trading technology solutions to traders, hedge funds and brokerage firms in China. In 2017 he founded ScienceVessel Lab LLC which focuses on developing cutting-edge trading technologies. In 2008, he founded the Chinese Trading Club which became the Chinese Trading and Investment Association after merging with the Chinese Derivatives Association in 2016.

Tony Zhang

Prof. Zhang currently holds the title of Clinical Assistant Professor at Gies College of Business. Additionally, he was recognized as an Innovation Fellow and Big Data Analytics Scholar at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His academic research primarily takes place within the domains of financial technology, applications of machine learning in quantitative investing, and entrepreneurship.

He is also an author of the book titled "Alternative Data and Artificial Intelligence in Investment and Risk Management." This publication was brought to light by Palgrave Macmillan in 2022.
